Tanoa International Dateline Hotel Nuku'alofa, Nuku'alofa

The hotel has very European style rooms that are clean and tidy, air-conditioned with tea and coffee making facilities, helping me focus on work. However, the rooms could benefit from better soundproofing on the door. The staff are extra friendly and engaging, making all interactions pleasant and fun, including the maintenance staff. The location is very convenient with a short walk to cafes, shopping, and markets, but disappointingly, the pool was closed for 3 days during my stay. The dining experience offered a buffet with a good variety of food, although more local fruits on the menu would be appreciated. The facilities are well-maintained, with laundry, airport shuttle, and tours/ticket assistance available.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were not ready on time and facing noisy areas, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The location allowed easy access to town and restaurants. The dining options were limited, and the facilities were satisfactory.

I had a family room at the hotel and enjoyed spending every day in the pool. The rooms had some issues with smells that required leaving lights and exhaust fan on, but overall, a comfortable stay for my family.
